Casino Truck Show 26 Success 

The Casino Truck Show is one of Australia's most iconic trucking events, bringing together thousands of people from across the transport industry to celebrate the trucks, businesses and people that keep Australia moving. Each year, owner-drivers, transport companies, suppliers, families and trucking enthusiasts travel from all corners of the country to experience what has become one of the most anticipated events on the Australian trucking calendar.

Recognised as the largest truck show in the Southern Hemisphere, the 2026 event once again exceeded expectations, with a record-breaking 550 trucks lining the streets of Casino and thousands of visitors filling the CBD throughout the weekend. From the spectacular Friday Night Lights convoy to the impressive truck displays, live entertainment and industry exhibits, the event showcased the very best of Australia's transport industry while celebrating the hardworking people who keep freight moving every day.

As a family-owned Australian AdBlue® manufacturer and supplier, Southern Blue was proud to hit the road and be part of this incredible weekend. The Casino Truck Show isn't just about impressive trucks, it's about the people behind the wheel, the families who support them, the businesses that keep freight moving, and the community that brings the entire industry together. Spending time with our customers, meeting new faces and sharing conversations with people from every corner of the industry reminded us why we love being part of Australia's transport community.

Rather than exhibiting with a traditional sales stand, our goal was simple, to connect with people, enjoy the atmosphere and support an event that means so much to the trucking industry. We spent the weekend walking the streets, admiring some of Australia's best-presented trucks, capturing hundreds of photos and videos, catching up with customers and introducing ourselves to people who had never heard of Southern Blue before. Sometimes the best conversations happen beside a truck rather than behind a sales counter.

Walter

One of the highlights of the weekend was introducing Walter, Southern Blue's mascot, to the trucking community. Walter was hidden throughout the event, creating a fun "Spot Walter" challenge that encouraged people to keep an eye out as they explored the show. It was fantastic to see people joining in, sharing photos and helping spread a little Southern Blue fun throughout Casino. Seeing the positive response confirmed exactly what we hoped, Walter is quickly becoming part of the Southern Blue story.

The Casino Community

The quality of the trucks on display was nothing short of incredible. Every street was filled with immaculate rigs, polished chrome, custom paintwork and countless hours of craftsmanship. Whether it was a classic Kenworth, a modern fleet vehicle or a beautifully restored truck, every entry reflected the pride and passion that exists throughout Australia's transport industry.

Beyond the trucks themselves, what makes the Casino Truck Show truly special is the community it creates. The event continues to bring together transport businesses, suppliers, families, volunteers and local organisations while delivering significant benefits to the Richmond Valley. Every truck, every exhibitor and every visitor contributes to an event that not only celebrates the transport industry but also gives back to the local community through fundraising and tourism.

As we packed up and made the journey home, one thing was certain—Southern Blue will definitely be back. The Casino Truck Show continues to grow every year, and after experiencing the record-breaking 2026 event firsthand, we're already looking forward to seeing what 2027 has in store.
