AdBlue® is a precisely formulated solution consisting of 32.5% high-purity automotive-grade urea and 67.5% deionised water.
The quality of both components and the manufacturing environment are important because AdBlue® is used within a vehicle's Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system.

Quality Control at Every Stage
Quality control is an important part of AdBlue® manufacturing.
Southern Blue manufactures AdBlue® in accordance with the requirements applicable to certified AdBlue® production, with processes in place to protect the product from contamination during manufacture, storage and handling.
Every batch manufactured by Southern Blue is also externally chemically tested, providing an additional level of quality verification.
Batches are traceable, allowing production and testing information to be linked back to the AdBlue® manufactured.
Manufactured, Stored and Delivered by Southern Blue
Our involvement doesn't stop at manufacturing.
Southern Blue manages AdBlue® from production through to storage and delivery, reducing the number of handling points between our manufacturing facility and our customers.
Our dedicated AdBlue® delivery trucks are used specifically for AdBlue®, helping protect product integrity during transport.
For bulk customers, our metered delivery trucks can pump AdBlue® directly into suitable on-site storage.
This gives customers a direct relationship with Southern Blue throughout the supply chain — from the team manufacturing their AdBlue® through to the team delivering it.
Supporting Small and Large Requirements
Manufacturing locally allows Southern Blue to support a wide range of requirements.
AdBlue® can be supplied in smaller packaged quantities, drums and IBCs, through to regular bulk deliveries for fleets, transport businesses, service stations and other high-volume operations.
For businesses requiring dedicated storage, Southern Blue can also provide AdBlue® tank solutions and smart monitoring systems to help manage on-site supply.
